Sage The Custom Loaf: features and buying advice
Brushed Stainless Steel
Editorial review Reviewed 27 October 2026 How we assess products
Sage The Custom Loaf suits bakers who want to adjust and save recipes. Wholemeal bread can stay moist, gluten-free loaves hold together well, and the dispenser spreads additions evenly. Nine custom memories sit alongside automatic bread, gluten-free, dough and jam modes, with 500g, 750g, 1kg and 1.25kg capacities. The clear LCD and internal light make progress easy to follow. The bread paddle folds before baking; jam uses a separate fixed paddle. Folding can reduce the obstruction but may fail and cannot promise a hole-free base. Loaf shape and noise vary, and small batches use the large pan less effectively. Download the online recipe book and allow permanent worktop space. Choose it for recipe control rather than the simplest automatic loaf.
