Panasonic SD-R2530: features and buying advice
30 programmes, nut dispenser, Black
Editorial review Reviewed 27 October 2026 How we assess products
Panasonic’s SD-R2530 adds an automatic fruit and nut dispenser to 30 programmes covering bread, dough, manual stages and four gluten-free options. It makes light, well-risen white and wholemeal loaves with crusty sides, though the top could be softer and colour uneven. Its rapid setting took just under two hours with suitable recipes, and jam results were useful too. Medium, large and extra-large size choices depend on the recipe. There is no separate yeast dispenser or viewing window, and the wide body needs clearance for its lid. It is a sensible middle ground for frequent fruit and seed loaves: the Panasonic SD-B2510 is simpler for plain bread, while the Panasonic SD-YR2540 adds more automatic and specialist functions.
