Panasonic SD-PN100: features and buying advice
18 programmes, Black
Editorial review Reviewed 27 October 2026 How we assess products
The Panasonic SD-PN100 makes small fresh loaves in a compact body, with 18 programmes including brioche, dough, cake, jam and four gluten-free modes. Finished bread is about 400g, with the final weight depending on the recipe; a flour weight is not a finished loaf size. It makes soft, well-risen standard white and wholemeal bread, with useful cake, pizza-dough and jam results. Rapid and gluten-free bakes were less consistent and could be chewy or uneven. A progress display and crust choices help with everyday use, but there is no viewing window, automatic dispenser or keep-warm function. The exterior can become hot, the paddle can tear bread during removal, and the finish alert is loud. Arrange to remove and cool the loaf when it finishes. It is a sensible small-household choice; the cheaper Lakeland Compact 16147 has a window, while the Panasonic SD-PMC100NXC adds dispensers and frozen desserts.
