Panasonic SD-PMC100NXC: features and buying advice

Small loaves, 34 programmes and automatic dispensers

Editorial review Reviewed 27 October 2026 How we assess products

The Panasonic SD-PMC100NXC makes small white and wholemeal loaves with a good rise and shape; gluten-free bread can be light, with some unmixed mixture left outside. Finished loaves are about 400–500g depending on the recipe. The paddle can release cleanly from the bread, and soaking helps with pan cleaning. Separate yeast and fruit/nut dispensers and 34 programmes extend its range beyond basic bread. The supplied dessert container makes about 350–400ml of ice cream, frozen yoghurt or sorbet. Freeze it for at least 8–16 hours before the roughly 25-minute churn: the machine does not refrigerate itself. The kit includes stirring equipment, a mochi blade and measuring accessories. Swapping jobs means changing and cleaning equipment. Choose it when small-batch bread and frozen desserts will both earn their keep; the Panasonic SD-PN100 is the simpler breadmaking choice.
