Lakeland Deluxe Stainless Steel 2lb Bread Maker 34162: features and buying advice
12 programmes, a colour touchscreen and three loaf sizes
Editorial review Reviewed 27 October 2026 How we assess products
The Lakeland Deluxe 34162 pairs a colour touchscreen with illustrated choices for 12 programmes. White bread is airy and evenly baked, wholemeal moist and springy, and gluten-free bread can rise well, though some mixture may remain outside. The paddle usually stays in the pan with a small mark in the loaf. Baked-on crumbs around its fitting may need handwashing despite dishwasher-safe removable parts. Choose 500g, 750g or 900g loaves, crust colour, delayed start and keep warm. The screen can register accidental touches and kneading is noisy. There is no automatic ingredient dispenser; add fruit or nuts yourself. The supplied pan, paddle, measuring cup, spoon and hook are enough to begin. Choose it for clear controls; the Lakeland Bread Maker Plus 33362 adds automatic mix-ins and the Lakeland Compact 16147 suits smaller daily batches.
