Haier
Haier HWS49GA(UK)
49 bottles, single zone, Black
Editorial review Reviewed 28 October 2026 How we assess products
Haier HWS49GA suits a growing collection kept together at one temperature. Its 49-bottle freestanding cabinet has steady cooling and quick recovery after opening, although the temperature rises noticeably while the door stays open. Shelf end stops help secure bottles, and reversing the door makes positioning easier. Wider bottles reduce the standard-bottle capacity. Leave the manual’s ventilation clearances and allow for routine cleaning and replacement of the fitted carbon filter with the correct part. A single stable zone can suit storage before bottles are brought to serving temperature separately. For two serving temperatures, consider fitted Candy CCVB 60D UK/N or the smaller Baridi DH204, which permits freestanding use.
