VonShef
VonShef 4.5L Stand Mixer
Black tilt-head mixer
Editorial review Reviewed 21 October 2026 How we assess products
The VonShef 4.5L is a sensible low-cost starting point for occasional biscuits, pizza dough and straightforward family baking. Its useful work with cookie and heavier dough mixtures is more persuasive than the 1000W label on its own. The three essential tools are supplied. Whisking is less refined: some liquid mixtures can leave ingredients uncombined, and cakes may be less airy than with a better mixer. Stop to scrape and judge the mixture as you go. The light body is easier to carry but less substantial for frequent demanding use. Compare the Kenwood Go for a more rounded compact machine, or the Kenwood kMix for regular baking.
