Sage
Sage Luxe Brewer Thermal
1.77L filter coffee machine with thermal carafe
Editorial review Reviewed 20 October 2026 How we assess products
The Sage Luxe Brewer Thermal is the practical filter pick when several people want coffee from the same batch. Its roughly 1.8L brewing capacity and insulated jug make more sense for a round of mugs than brewing capsules one by one. The thermal jug keeps coffee away from a hot plate, while a removable tank makes refilling less awkward than on many basic brewers. The controls take some learning and the diagram-led instructions are not especially helpful. Custom temperature, bloom and flow options are useful only if you will adjust them; a simple budget brewer may be enough for occasional batches. Choose the Sage for larger thermal-jug batches and cold-brew flexibility. The Fellow Aiden is better suited to someone who wants guided profiles and more deliberate single-cup brewing as well.
