KitchenAid Artisan 125
4.8L tilt-head, Empire Red 5KSM125BER
Editorial review Reviewed 21 October 2026 How we assess products
Cakes, buttercream and biscuits are the KitchenAid Artisan 125’s strongest reasons to buy. A handled 4.8L bowl, familiar speed lever and substantial body suit regular baking, with tilt-head access for adding ingredients and scraping. Its lower input wattage is not a reason to dismiss its mixing ability. The 125 is the simpler package: do not assume an Artisan 175’s smaller second bowl or flex-edge beater is included. There are no scales or timer, and the body is heavy to put away. The Kenwood kMix is a cheaper everyday alternative. For frequent large dough batches, compare the KitchenAid 5.6L Bowl-Lift Artisan or the Ooni Halo Core.
