The Judge JEA81 suits a shallow table and smaller portions. Its 43 x 23cm plate is compact, but the complete body is approximately 58 x 25 x 8cm: check the width as well as the depth. The 2000W heater has Warm and five heat settings, covering approximately 100–240°C. Pancakes and steaks work well on the flat plate; eggs may need a little oil during initial use. The surface is easy to wipe, with grease collected in a removable tray. A short lead restricts placement, and substantial meals need batches. Use it indoors on a heat-resistant surface with the instructed 15cm clearance.
