Yum Asia
Yum Asia Kumo
5.5 cups · Dark stainless steel
Editorial review Reviewed 24 October 2026 How we assess products
The Yum Asia Kumo is a strong everyday rice cooker: it produces separate, fluffy grains at both one-cup and five-cup loads, with clear controls, useful water markings and thorough instructions. Automatic heat and timing adjustments mean the finish time can vary, so allow more time than with a fast pressure cooker. The normal white-rice maximum is 5.5 supplied 180ml cups; brown rice is limited to four cups and the YumCarb basket to three. Steam, porridge and slow-cook modes, a preset timer and keep-warm broaden its use. The coated bowl and inner lid need hand washing, with rice rinsed separately. The larger Yum Asia Sakura suits bigger batches; Yum Asia Bamboo adds induction heating. Treat YumCarb as a cooking option without expecting a quantified health benefit.
