Yum Asia
Yum Asia Bamboo
8 cups, 1.5L, Metallic Silver
Editorial review Reviewed 24 October 2026 How we assess products
For frequent rice cooking, the Yum Asia Bamboo brings excellent texture across long-grain, sushi and brown rice, induction heating and useful specialist programmes. Its solid build, customisable default timings, responsive touch panel, bowl handles, low whirring noise and limited escaping steam make it pleasant to use. White rice can take around 35 minutes; brown rice and the soaking-based GABA programme need longer. Yumami offers another white-rice cycle, while the crust mode can make a very hard base. Steam, porridge, slow cooking and cake modes add flexibility. Its maximum is eight supplied cups of uncooked white rice, or six brown; use the matching markings. Hand-wash the coated bowl and inner lid and rinse rice separately. Choose Yum Asia Sakura when family capacity matters more than induction heating.
