Vileda Steam Plus Pro XXL, UK 182850
Editorial review Reviewed 29 October 2026 How we assess products
The Vileda Steam Plus Pro XXL uses a 40cm floorhead to cover a wider strip with each pass. That makes it an appealing choice for open kitchen-diners and larger rooms, where a narrow head means more overlapping strokes. Its advantage is coverage; a wider head alone does not guarantee better removal of stubborn stains. Four steam settings are selected by button, and a supplied Sensitive pad is designed for use with the lowest setting. A descaling reminder helps prompt maintenance. The kit includes two washable pads, a carpet glider and a storage tray, with a nominal 15-second heat-up. The Sensitive pad and low setting do not override your flooring manufacturer’s restrictions on steam.
