Vileda Steam Mop Plus, UK 182612
Editorial review Reviewed 29 October 2026 How we assess products
The Vileda Steam Mop Plus is easy to bring out for an ordinary floor clean. Its pad attaches without fuss, the head pivots around furniture, and the supplied jug makes refilling straightforward. At 2.1kg, it is relatively easy to handle, with a 6m cable giving useful room-to-room reach. The 400ml tank is generous for this simple upright format. Steam can be adjusted to the task, and the two washable pads provide a spare while one dries. The handle detaches for storage, which is helpful when a tall assembled mop would get in the way. It is best for lighter dirt: heavy mud takes more work. There is no ready light or replaceable anti-scale filter.
