Vax Steam Fresh Total Home CDST-SFXT
Editorial review Reviewed 29 October 2026 How we assess products
The Vax Steam Fresh Total Home CDST-SFXT earns its place through useful cleaning versatility. It tackles dried food marks effectively, and its detachable handheld, hose and brushes take the same appliance beyond the kitchen floor. A scrubbing brush built into the floorhead and a steam boost help with stubborn dirt. The supplied kit is substantial: window and detail tools, grout and scrubbing brushes, a carpet glider and seven pads in different shapes. There is also a spare filter and a 250ml starter bottle of steam solution. That makes it a better starting point for varied jobs than a floor-only mop, without needing to buy a collection of extras immediately. Use only the specified Vax steam solution in the separate solution tank, never the water tank.
