T548005 · compact corded spot cleaner
Editorial review Reviewed 29 October 2026 How we assess products
A compact, carryable option for local marks on suitable short-pile carpeted stairs. Its body fitted a curved stair tread comfortably and the brush-and-extraction method worked well on ink and mud. Placement must remain upright and stable, with a socket in reach: the 4m cord and 1.2m hose are limited and the manual prohibits extension leads. The clean tank holds 1.2L; the dirty tank has only 0.5L working capacity despite its larger nominal shell. Fill with water below 40°C and apply a compatible pretreatment to the fabric separately if needed. No solution is included, and shampoo must not be poured into the tank. It is unsuitable for long-fibre carpet and outdoor use. Choose a cordless hose cleaner where safe socket reach is the obstacle.
