Tineco
Tineco Carpet ONE Cruiser — features, strengths and limitations
Powered upright carpet washer
Editorial review Reviewed 28 October 2026 How we assess products
The Tineco Carpet ONE Cruiser is a premium choice for regular carpet washing when pushing a conventional upright feels hard work. Powered movement reduces the push-pull effort, while dirt sensing adjusts the wash and provides a visible progress cue. Floor cleaning is strong, and heated drying plus the brush-rinsing and drying cycle make the routine more convenient. It is still a 9.9kg machine to carry, with modest 2-litre clean and 1.7-litre dirty tanks; the combined tank is awkward when full. The hose tool is useful but leaves upholstery wetter than the floorhead. Its practical hardware matters more than the app, and tanks, filters and trapped hair still need manual care. Expect loud operation during a wash.
