Tefal SuperGrill 3in1 XL GC520DG1
A large manual contact grill that opens flat for extra cooking room.
Editorial review Reviewed 23 October 2026 How we assess products
The Tefal SuperGrill GC520DG1 is for larger batches without paying for automatic food programmes. Use it closed as a contact grill or open it flat for up to 800cm² of cooking space. Its advertised eight portions depend on the size of the food; they do not promise a complete meal for eight. A simple dial and ready light keep the routine easy to understand. Burgers are a strong point, but recommended heat settings are only a starting point. Chicken can dry out at a higher setting, and vegetable marking is not perfectly uniform. Light oiling helps prevent sticking. Removable dishwasher-safe parts are welcome, although grease below the lower plate and baked-on residue still call for a careful clean. Cuisinart GR47BU costs less and includes flat plates; Tefal OptiGrill Elite adds automatic guidance.
