Smeg KLF03CRUK review and specifications
1.7L retro-style kettle, cream
Editorial review Reviewed 16 October 2026 How we assess products
Smeg KLF03CRUK is the cream 1.7L retro kettle with 3kW heating, a soft-opening lid, controlled pour and removable stainless-steel limescale filter. The 360° base allows a useful cord direction. Its substantial build and appearance justify a design-led choice, not a claim of better tea. It boils only, has no keep-warm and its uninsulated body becomes very hot. Minimum-fill guidance is less clear than on low-fill rivals; roughly 500ml is the reviewed model-family guidance, and the jug markings and manual remain important. Descale regularly in hard water. Choose it for design and everyday pouring; Artisan adds temperature choice and insulation, while Ripple costs much less for ordinary boiling.
