A distinctive Cream pair with useful functions behind the retro styling. The KLF04CRUK kettle holds 1.7L, offers seven 50–100°C temperatures and keeps water warm for up to 20 minutes. A soft-opening lid and cup/litre gauge help with filling, but the kettle feels heavy and its exterior gets hot. The TSF01CRUK toaster has two slots and two-slice capacity, with six browning levels, bagel, defrost and reheat. It browns strongly, so start with a modest setting; both slices share one control. This is not the four-slice Smeg set or the boil-only KLF03 kettle. Choose it when the coordinated design and temperature options justify the high price, rather than for family toaster capacity.
