The Shark BreatheClear NeverChange6 HP162UK provides clear on-machine feedback without an app, including temperature, humidity and gas-related readings. Responsive automatic sensing, motion detection and light-sensitive dimming make daily use straightforward. Washable Debris Defence screens protect the main filter. Its useful high-air-change rating is 14m² at 4.8 changes an hour; 70m² assumes only one change. The up-to-six-year filter claim is conditional: Shark tests a 14m² area for 12 hours daily at maximum speed, allowing a 50% decline in clean-air delivery. Keep the screens clean and follow indicators rather than assuming unchanged performance for six years. There is no smart-home connection or old NeverChange5 fragrance cartridge, and the humidity reading does not mean it removes moisture.
