Sage Compact Wave Soft Close review and specifications
25L · 800W · Silver
Editorial review Reviewed 4 October 2026 How we assess products
The Sage Compact Wave Soft Close is a 25L, 800W solo microwave for buyers who value quieter everyday use. A gentle door closure, mute button, clearly separated buttons and a timing dial make regular heating comfortable. One-touch reheat and defrost shortcuts are useful, and it heats meals evenly without readily drying them out. Automatic defrosting is another strength. The 48.5 × 41.7 × 29.2cm body needs generous worktop depth plus ventilation space. It has no multistage cooking, grill or convection oven, and a rotating plate still limits awkward dishes. Bosch costs less and offers a saved favourite; the similarly priced Samsung suits regular reheating. Choose the cheaper Panasonic for occasional small meals.
