Panasonic NN-ST65QBBPQ review and buying guide
Black
Editorial review Reviewed 4 October 2026 How we assess products
The Panasonic NN-ST65QBBPQ is our larger solo choice for family plates and bowls. Its 32L cavity and 34cm turntable provide more usable dish space than the 17–23L models here, provided your cookware can rotate freely. Seven power levels, 1000W maximum output, sensor reheating and 24 automatic programmes give you alternatives to full-power timed cooking. The flush touch panel wipes clean and offers 10-second, one-minute and ten-minute time buttons. Inverter control varies the supplied power, but it does not remove the need to stir, check food and allow standing time. The 52.5 × 38.8 × 31cm body needs a generous worktop plus its instructed ventilation gaps. At about £189 it costs substantially more than a basic 20L microwave. Buy it for larger dishes and more flexible controls; choose the smaller Panasonic when those benefits would go unused.

- 24 programmes offer shortcuts for regular cooking tasks
- 10-second, one-minute and ten-minute buttons allow digital timing adjustments
- Flush touch controls are convenient to wipe clean

Limitations

- Automatic programmes need learning and do not remove stirring or standing-time checks
- Solo microwave heating cannot grill, brown or crisp food
- The interior light may be disappointing; one owner specifically reports poor brightness
