The Ooni Volt 2 combines a 450°C indoor pizza oven with a temperature range broad enough for baking and roasting. The viewing window, presets and top-crisping adjustment make it easy to get started, while the supplied rack gives it uses beyond the pizza stone. It can produce well-risen crusts and crisp pizza, but the presets will not suit every dough equally. Allow a complete preheat and experiment with dough thickness and topping quantity before expecting repeatable bases. Top crisping is not the same as independent control of both elements. It also needs a sizeable clear area on the worktop and good kitchen ventilation because high-temperature cooking can smoke. Budget for a 12-inch peel and check handle clearance; the Volt 2 is indoor-only.
