The flat plate can have a cooler area and collect pockets of oil, so watch placement and move food as needed. Close the lid for preheating before using an open-lid mode. Ninja EG351UK is cheaper for ordinary grilling with a probe. Sizzle Pro XL GX101UK suits large open-plate cooking without air frying.
