The Ninja Foodi ST202UK makes sense if you want the toaster to handle lunch as well as breakfast. Upright, one long slot takes two slices or two bagel halves side by side. Flip it down to make a panini, grill cheese on toast or reheat a slice of pizza. The appliance is about 41 cm long. Use it on an open worktop with at least 25.4 cm above and 10.2 cm on all sides for ventilation. Allow extra room to flip it and pull out the grill tray. The crumb tray slides partway out and stays attached. The black version uses the same controls and cooking hardware. It produced even toast and a crisp panini in an independent trial, but the panini took about 14 minutes. A conventional four-slice toaster will suit a busy breakfast table better. The stainless KT201UK kettle is the matching separate purchase.
