The DT200UK makes the strongest case for replacing some of your main oven’s jobs. Its 29L cavity and two supplied racks let you cook a main and sides together, while digital controls make time and temperature easier to set than on the basic dial models. Air fry, roast, bake, grill and toast are joined by pizza, bagel, whole roast, dehydrate and reheat settings. Cooking performance is its main attraction: crisp chips, evenly roasted chicken and well-browned bread give it a broader useful range than the simple budget ovens. The catch is cleaning. Grease can collect around the heating elements and interior, so frequent oily cooking brings work afterwards. Its bulky body is better left on the worktop than lifted from a cupboard for each meal. Some bakes brown more strongly near the front, so turning the tray can help; allow plenty of care around the hot exterior.
