Ninja DG551UK makes most sense as a larger-grilling alternative to the EG351UK. Its XL plate takes up to six burger-sized portions, and the integrated cooking probe helps monitor suitable meat and fish. Six functions cover grilling, air frying, roasting, baking, dehydrating and reheating. The current model has a 3.8L pot and a separate 3.8L crisper basket. Those are different accessories for one cooking chamber: you cannot grill a main and air fry chips independently at the same time. The wider plate and extra accessories also need washing and storage space. Its family role comes from capacity and controls rather than a promise that more modes will improve every meal. The cheaper Ninja EG351UK suits four burgers. Ninja AG651UK adds a flat plate and open-lid cooking at a higher price.
