Melitta Calibra 1027-01: Measured Filter Doses without a Separate Scale
160W grinder with integrated scales
Editorial review Reviewed 23 October 2026 How we assess products
The Melitta Calibra 1027-01 measures ground-coffee output as it works, making it convenient for repeated filter doses. Its conical steel burrs, 39 settings and 375g hopper support weight-target, cup-count and manual modes. Tare resets the scales to zero with your container in place, so the container is not counted as coffee. Allow time to learn those controls. Gram-based weighing is useful for filter brewing but does not replace a separate 0.1g espresso scale, and fine adjustment is less suited to a conventional espresso basket than the Baratza Encore ESP’s. It is a good fit for familiar beans and a repeat filter recipe; a single-dose grinder is more convenient when you frequently change coffee.
