MeacoDry Arete Two 20L: performance, features and buying advice
Charcoal · compressor with app control
Editorial review Reviewed 31 October 2026 How we assess products
The MeacoDry Arete Two 20L suits regular condensation control and indoor laundry in a heated home. Its compressor removes moisture by condensing it on a cooled surface. Its 4.8-litre tank reduces emptying interruptions, while an adjustable louvre directs air towards washing. Smart Laundry switches off after six hours; check the load rather than assuming it is dry. Automatic humidity control and night mode work without the app; remote scheduling is useful but less obvious to find. Meaco specifies 8.5L/day at 20°C and 60% relative humidity, well below the warm-condition headline 20L rating. Cooler air reduces output further. The supplied H13 HEPA filter adds particle filtration, without establishing dedicated-purifier performance. Clean the washable dust screen separately from the HEPA filter. Gravity drainage is possible, but the hose is not included. A large body and higher upfront cost make it excessive for one small room.
