Levoit Vital 100S — features, strengths and limitations
Washable prefilter · Smart pet mode
Editorial review Reviewed 28 October 2026 How we assess products
The Levoit Vital 100S is a practical small-room choice for pet-owning homes. Its accessible washable prefilter makes hair and fluff easier to clear, while Pet mode, VeSync schedules and voice control add convenience. The slim body is manageable to move but remains tall enough for floor placement. Its 243m³/h airflow suits about 21m² at five air changes an hour; the much larger headline area describes slower cleaning. It detects particle changes quickly, but heavy pollution can need a louder manual speed and on-machine feedback is colour-coded rather than numeric. Clean the optical sensor periodically and wash only the prefilter; replace the main particle/carbon element when due. Airborne dander capture does not replace vacuuming settled hair.
