Lakeland Tri-Clad 28cm Frying Pan
A textured hybrid pan for browning and everyday frying
Editorial review Reviewed 23 October 2026 How we assess products
Lakeland Tri-Clad 28cm combines a steel-and-aluminium body with raised steel hexagons over ceramic non-stick. It suits cooks who want browning contact and easier release than bare steel at a lower cost than HexClad 25cm Hybrid Pan. Delicate eggs may still need a nudge, some fat and heat adjustment. Quick warming and good pancake and tofu results broaden its use. Residue can collect around the texture, making a soak useful. The coating is PFAS/PTFE free and metal utensils are permitted, but avoid aggressive scraping. All hobs, including induction, are supported. Hand wash only and keep oven use to 230°C; use gloves for hot handles. For easy breakfast cooking, Salter Marblestone or Our Place Always Pan 2.0 is simpler. Choose Lakeland when meat and vegetable browning matter enough to accept the hybrid surface’s extra cleaning and technique.
