Kuhn Rikon Allround supplies 16/18/20cm saucepans holding 1.5/2.3/3.1 litres, with ordinary vented glass lids. The uncoated 18/10 stainless steel bodies have thick induction-compatible bases and rolled pouring rims. Glass lids let you watch a simmer without lifting them, an advantage over Stellar Eclipse’s opaque lids. This is the original Allround trio, not the larger Allround Plus set with draining lids. Dishwasher cleaning and oven use to 240°C are permitted. Handles still get hot in the oven or near high gas flames; use protection. Stir thicker food and manage heat because steel is not non-stick. Choose it for familiar saucepan sizes and see-through lids; ProCook Professional adds a frying pan, while Stellar Eclipse spreads heat through its sides as well as its base.
