Automatic lowering and lifting make the Pebbled Palm Artisan 5KMT2204BPP especially convenient. Its sensor detects bread, seven shade settings adjust browning and an LED countdown shows progress. Bagel and frozen modes cover common breakfast choices, while a short keep-warm cycle helps when toast is not removed promptly. Browning is even, and the included sandwich rack adds a modest toasted-lunch option. Thick bread or heavily filled sandwiches are less suitable for that rack. This is the two-slice UK toaster, not a four-slot Artisan, and its substantial body needs plenty of worktop. Match it with the separately bought 5KEK1522BPP kettle for the Pebbled Palm pair; compare the high combined cost before ordering.
