EcoAir DD128: performance, features and buying advice
Blue · 8-litre desiccant
Editorial review Reviewed 31 October 2026 How we assess products
The EcoAir DD128 is a desiccant dehumidifier: it removes moisture using an absorbent material, making it useful for cooler rooms and regular laundry. Electronic humidity control, an off timer and a swinging louvre make warm airflow easy to direct towards washing. Its 8L/day rating is at 20°C and 60% relative humidity, so it cannot be compared directly with every compressor headline. The 6.1kg body is manageable, but the 2.2-litre tank needs attention during demanding use. Controls take learning and high mode is noisy and uses more electricity. An IonPure filter comes with the appliance: dry-clean it fortnightly and replace according to condition and the manual, without washing. The DD128 replacement does not fit the DD1 or Piccola.
