EcoAir DD1 Simple MK3: performance, features and buying advice
Blue · rotary-control desiccant
Editorial review Reviewed 31 October 2026 How we assess products
The EcoAir DD1 Simple MK3 uses an absorbent material, called a desiccant, to remove moisture. It combines a rotary humidity control with an economy/turbo slider for straightforward condensation control and warm laundry airflow. The humidity control cycles drying automatically around the chosen setting; it is not simply continuous operation. Its 7.5L/day rating is at 20°C and 60% relative humidity. A six-kilogram body and handled side tank help with carrying and emptying. Turbo is loud and uses more electricity, while the dial lacks a precise digital target, off timer and app schedules. The EcoAir DD128 offers more electronic control. Follow the exact silver-filter dry-cleaning instructions rather than assuming it can be washed. Manufacturer operation is specified from 1°C to 35°C.
