The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1/HP11 combines automatic purification, fan airflow and thermostatic heating. Wide oscillation distributes air, the magnetic remote controls everyday settings and MyDyson schedules can warm a room before use. Particle readings appear on the LCD and app. Its strongest case is a room that needs occasional extra heat and a summer fan as well as filtration. The fan does not refrigerate air like air conditioning, and airflow is audible, especially at high speed. Heating uses far more electricity than fan/purifier mode, so assess those costs separately. An unstable home Wi-Fi connection can interrupt remote control. Expect roughly annual combined-filter replacement according to use and the indicator; the exact Dyson 965432-01 is compatible. Purification alone does not justify the premium.
