Dualit Classic is a 1.7L, 3kW boil-only kettle with a replaceable heating element. An appropriate repair service can extend its useful life, but neither repairability nor a high price guarantees a lifetime without faults. It boils quickly, measures down to 250ml, pours cleanly and sits on anti-wobble feet. Dual windows show cups and litres. The hinged lid uses a heatproof ring rather than a button. Its metal body becomes hot and it has neither variable temperature nor active keep-warm. Choose it for serviceability and straightforward daily use; Kenwood Ripple is cheaper for basic boiling, while Bosch Sky adds insulation and brewing choices. Electrical repairs belong with the manufacturer or a competent repairer.
