The FreezeEase Pro suits regular ice cream making when adjustable firmness and separate ice-cream and gelato paddles matter. Smooth vanilla and sorbet results support the premium over the simpler Lakeland Compressor. Its responsive touch controls offer four dessert presets plus time and firmness adjustments, though learning recipes and settings takes practice. Fill below the paddle’s marked rib: 1.5L is the bowl size, not starting mixture. Chill a cooked base and allow ten minutes between batches. Keep-cool holds dessert for up to 90 minutes with the paddle stopped. The paddle is top-rack dishwasher-safe; hand-wash the bowl and lid, and wipe the body. Allow a permanent, ventilated worktop space. Magimix is the alternative for keen gelato makers; Lakeland costs less when basic churning is enough.
