FlexPrep is a small processor with more uses than a basic chopper: its fine/medium shredding disc and whipping disc add vegetables and cream to everyday chopping. Fast onion prep, breadcrumbs, pastes and small pastry quantities are useful strengths. BladeLock holds the blade while pouring, and its light base and retracting cord are easy to store. One fast speed makes pulse important for texture. Chopped onion can retain larger pieces, shredded vegetables vary in size, and nuts can end up a mixture of powder and whole pieces. Cream needs close watching to avoid overwhipping; the narrow feed tube also means more pre-cutting. There is no slicing disc, and the storage hub does not hold the whipping disc. Choose Go if slicing matters, or FP8U for two bowls and more speed choice.
