Cosori CNS-R101S combines a quick everyday 5kg scale with optional nutrition logging. It reads in 1g steps, has a tare button to reset the reading to zero after adding a bowl, stable non-slip feet, and works for ordinary weighing without opening the app. Bluetooth and the free VeSync app add food lookup, barcode scanning and nutrient tracking. Those figures come from the matched database entry: the scale does not analyse food. Check portion, product and preparation details, and expect more work when a barcode is missing. It is not a substitute for personalised clinical diet advice. The steel surface shows fingerprints, but the basic weighing stays useful even when you skip logging. Amazon Basics is simpler for ordinary recipes; Heston Blumenthal by Salter is better for fine dough additions.
