Breville Deep Fill VST091 review and specifications
Fixed-plate two-toastie maker
Editorial review Reviewed 4 October 2026 How we assess products
The white VST091 keeps the buying decision simple: deep pockets, a ready light and sealed toasties without extra plate sets. Its enclosed plate edges and walled hinge help contain filling, and its strong sealing makes it a better budget recommendation than the slightly cheaper Daewoo. It is inexpensive rather than perfectly even. Browning and heat distribution can vary, so check both sandwiches and adjust the next batch if one side colours more quickly. The plates stay attached to the machine. Let it cool, unplug it and wipe carefully around the shaped edges; they cannot be lifted out or put in the dishwasher. Spend less on the VST091 if you can accept hand-cleaning and some uneven colour.
