Breville BRITA HotCup VKJ367
1.8L, 3kW, Stainless Steel
Editorial review Reviewed 20 October 2026 How we assess products
The silver Breville VKJ367 is the 1.8L HotCup with a BRITA MAXTRA cartridge, nine cup-size settings and a stop button. Its 3000W heater boils water at one temperature; there are no cooler brewing presets. Filtration is the reason to choose it over the larger 2L Breville VKJ318, which has no cartridge. Allow time for water to drain through the filter funnel, and check the dial against a large mug before relying on one cycle. The manual specifies a new cartridge every four weeks; descaling is a separate job. Unplug and fill away from the powered base because unused boiled water returns to the reservoir and can make it hot. Allow a few seconds between cycles and never immerse powered parts.
