Blueair Blue Max 3250i — features, strengths and limitations
Smart automatic particle cleaning
Editorial review Reviewed 28 October 2026 How we assess products
The Blueair Blue Max 3250i balances responsive automatic particle cleaning, quiet low settings and useful app schedules. Its 239m³/h clean-air delivery suits a modest bedroom or living room: around 20m² at 4.8 air changes an hour is more meaningful than reading the 48m² headline as rapid cleaning. The removable fabric prefilter is washable, but the main particle/carbon filter needs replacement. On-machine controls are less clear than the app and have no timer. Its sensor tracks particles rather than gases, so a good colour reading does not prove odours or gases are gone. It is a convenient everyday choice; a larger purifier offers more airflow for an open-plan room.
