Bissell
Bissell SpotClean HydroSteam 3689E
3689E · steam and extraction cleaner
Editorial review Reviewed 29 October 2026 How we assess products
Steam, cleaning solution and extraction work together to lift stubborn fabric marks, including ground-in mud and ketchup, without excessive scrubbing pressure. Wide and narrow stain brushes are useful, while the multi-surface tool is less persuasive on grout that still needs hard scrubbing. Wheels help move the body, but it is heavy to carry and the 1.5m hose can leave you bending down. The HydroRinse attachment flushes the hose; tanks and brushes still need rinsing, and small parts can be fiddly to dry. Allow fabric to dry fully before use, with time depending on the room and water applied. Choose this for genuine steam assistance, use a compatible Bissell portable-machine formula and follow the fabric's heat and moisture restrictions.
